What to Expect

How it Works

What you need now is ease. I’m here to help you simplify the process as you begin your journey.

1

Consultation

Your journey begins with a complimentary 20-minute consultation where we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and how I can support you. This is your opportunity to ask questions, learn more about my therapeutic approach, and see if this feels like the right fit for your healing journey.

2

Intake Session

The intake session is where we take time to truly get to know you, your story, your struggles, and your goals. Together, we’ll explore your past experiences to better understand what’s impacting you today. While this process can feel vulnerable, I approach it with empathy and compassion, creating a safe space where you feel supported from the very beginning.

3

Ongoing Sessions

In our ongoing sessions, we’ll work side by side to help you heal, grow, and move forward. Each session is personalized to your unique needs, whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, trauma, stress, or relationship challenges. My goal is to provide a tailored therapeutic experience that meets you exactly where you are, helping you build resilience, restore balance, and create lasting change.

  • Online EMDR therapy works through a secure, HIPAA-compliant EHR platform that includes professional bilateral stimulation tools. During sessions, clients receive visual and auditory bilateral stimulation, such as alternating lights or tones to support the brain’s natural healing process. This helps process distressing memories, reduce emotional intensity, and promote lasting emotional relief and resilience—all from the comfort and privacy of home.

  • During your first therapy appointment, we’ll take time to review important measures and gather information that helps me understand your unique needs. This session is also about building rapport, creating a safe space for you to share openly, and beginning to outline the direction of our work together. By the end of our meeting, you’ll leave with a clear explanation of the personalized therapy plan we’ll follow to support your goals, so you know exactly what to expect moving forward.

  • Out-of-pocket session fees are $200 for the initial intake, $160 for standard therapy sessions, and $180 for EMDR sessions. If you are using insurance, session costs depend on your plan’s deductible and coverage. I’m happy to review your benefits and provide a clear understanding of your expected costs before beginning services.
